Becareful of this Ripper while trading here

Post by stu55 » Wed Feb 11, 2009 4:18 pm

Just a heads up to everyone. Yvel is a ripper. He had a deal for:

2x Prerelease Misprints for my $75

The misprints never arrived. This was brought to his attention to him and then again recently and he refuses to refund me.

So he openly admits to ripping me, so everyone becareful. He has had problems with Ritenecrowin and Mystical Tutor as well.

He is very shady, I urge people to avoid dealing with him to protect your interests.

I bought:

Release Event 2003
Rukh Egg - missing the silver -10-

Laquatus's Champion 2002 - misplaced date

for $75, never received, and then tried to file a paypal claim and you took all the money out of your acct so I couldnt get it back. Also, tried to e-mail and PM and never got a reply

if you reclaim to paypal that you have been refounded, and the case close in both side. I 'll do something.

There is no reason for me to claim that if it isnt true. Basically, if this doesnt resolve, I am posting a big message warning everyone of the troubles dealing with you. This is uncalled for.

As an external observer who has nothing to do with this, but who has always promoted the diffusion of any news about bad trading practices involving members here (I posted about my problems with Fvzappa in the past), I would like to point out to yvel that :

1) You are not addressing his accusation of bad trading with member ritenecrowin, nor did you reply in the other thread to the involved member either

2) Stu55 did win his Paypal claim but affirms he didn't get his money back since your Paypal account had been emptied. That's hardly fair if he didn't receive the cards he paid for.

I believe it would benefit you and all of us greatly if you could put more effort in replying to these issues.

Seriously, if you ripped me, own up to it...
this is outragous that it would reach this point. I only wanted to be able to cross the french games from my list, but instead I'm out cards that I had to actively go and buy(!) to send to you.

You have not addressed anything with me!

Yvel - you forgot to include me on your list of people you've traded with and had no problems.

Stuff gets lost in the mail sometimes. That is part of the risk of trading valuables through the postal system.

"delivery confirmation" is a US only solution. International trades are not so easy to track.

What really is getting under my skin about this whole situation:

You have not once said I'm sorry, this got messed up and I am sorry...

All you have done is try and defend yourself by saying things have worked with other folks on here...

well 3 of us so far have gotten ripped and I was willing to forget about this with an open apology, which you couldn't even offer up...

I would just be cautious of dealing with Yvel... or at least request any form of tracking and trade through a Moderator if possible.

Yvel doesnt sound very intelligent, and I have gotten pretty good at reading and understanding choppy foreign english on message boards..

Do you even understand what is going on here?

I think you should be IP banned from this site.

Up to now the posts in this thread have been relevant to the topic. Please do not reduce it to name calling.

The way I see it, when 2 people enter a deal online, they are both taking a risk to trust the other party. Unfortunately there is little enforcement for when something goes wrong.

Yvel - you have two people who are upset with you. It is your choice how you decide to handle the situation. Whatever you choose, remember that it will influence your reputation with the members of this community.

stu55, ritnecrowin - You have both made your points. If there is nothing else constructive to add to the debate then there is no need to post. Please do not turn this into a flame war.

I said many time before, that I will re-send cards to ritnecrowin, maybe he didn't get my pm before (see the one of today).

For the stu55... sorry but I will never do something else for you. You opened a paypal stike even befor talk with me by pm. You prefered (last year ... because our trade was last year) ask paypal for assistance, fine.
