A large lot of those (perhaps the same cards, plus more) were sold on ebay a few years ago. I believe they went for ~$5 per card.

I think the trend currently is an increase on the misprints and decrease on complete sets (in English and in other common foreign sets).

You can buy an English set for nothing (old sets) and same for French sets. There is no market for French sets for instance.

MTGO increases this trend for English sets. It is very easy to build foil sets there for instance.

Let's hope for the buyers of misprints that the price won't collapse in the next years, as when they will wish to resell them, the loss will be important.

Sure, but 90 % of the old sets are cheap now.

What sets were you thinking about for instance ?

A lot of misprints are cheap. The spectacular ones are often expensive, but then again the spectacular completed sets are expensive as well.

Three of these appeared a few years back. I bought one at about the same price as they are going for now. They appear on the uncommons, & I have yet to see a duplicate.

I bought Instill Energy, & it has since been drawn on by the artist (Ron Spencer).
