My thoughts :

unlimited booster pack is about 800$ on ebay

so

1 sealed unlimited booster box >>> 30k minimum

1 sealed unlimited booster box from Gary >>> Priceless

Magic61983 > 30k$ for an alpha unseached booster box is really cheap, i already know 2 people who are interested in this product and who can put (a lot) more than this price.

Jon;
If your serious about getting a couple UL or Beta boosters that you can be 100% comfortable are not scanned/opened/messed with. Drop me a PM. They are NOT cheap of course.

How much you offer for the box ?
If you open it, i would be happy to buy part of it.
Even, i would love to get the box empty ...
Let me know if you want me in the deal guys !
I bought 5 boosters starters and it was searched each time.
I was lucky i had some help to get refund.
Even once, i bought a beta starter and i recieved it open ...
Since i never bought any starter/booster from 93 but here i can beleve it s the real thing and i would be happy to get some.

But, my old friend, you have not said anything about the unopened A/B starter deck display.... What am I to do with that?

Since the last Unlimited booster box sold on a US website for 60% less then your quote I doubt that's correct information. 2 Beta booster boxes sold on eBay in the past 6 months also both ending at $25k. We will just have to agree to disagree.

I could see $30k-$40k on a beta booster but unlimited no chance.
BGS 9+ Alpha set 282/295 (97.29%) Avg 9.41
BGS 9.5+ Beta set 283/302 (93.71%) Avg 9.58
BGS 9.5+ Arabian set 35/92 (38.04%) Avg 9.62
BGS 9.5+ Antiquities set 82/100 (82%) Avg 9.64
BGS 9.5+ Legends set 279/310 (90.00%) Avg 9.61

One part of this discussion that hasn't been opened is the difference in price between Europe and the US.

It would be really great if I could sell it in Europe for enough that I could afford to go there to deliver it. There are so many places on my "to see" list that I'm not sure I will ever get to..... sigh, and even more that I need to "finish" seeing.

Any evidence for the Unlimited booster box ? Name of the Shop?
12K$ seems too cheap to be real unless this was some years ago.

Beta booster pack worth more than 1300$ each on ebay 30K$ will be a bargain price for a booster box

And honestly, i've never ever saw a real alpha/beta booster box sold on ebay (sold by someone with real strong feedback). But i have maybe missed one?

If you have an alpha or beta unseached booster box for 30K$ for sell, consider it sold, I only have two phone calls to do to find a buyer.

Gary:

5000$ for an antiquities booster box is a minimum but for me, selling those kind of boxes now is a really bad idea, unless you really need quickly a lot of money.

60% was a typo it should have been 40% and it was sold by dacardworld and was bought by Daniel Chang.

It was available for 3 months it's not like it was a quick sell.

English Legends boxes are running around $4500ish these days. Alt 4th you should probably talk to Jon I know he really wanted one not that long ago.

Hey Gary,

Make sure you sign the boxes in black sharpie before you send them off if you do sell them. You KNOW that your celebrity status and signature would bring even more value to those boxes! :D

Gary - agree with the voices on this board. No need to sell the boxes unless you have some kind of liquidity need or can find a better investment opportunity. Very cool item from the vaults.

Personally, I've never understood the appeal of vintage boosters. The likelihood of landing a valuable card is marginal and the overall value of the contents of the booster is likely much less than the cost of the pack.

By the way, a full graded set of BGS Beta is currently at 20k (reserve not met) on the site that shall not be named. If I had 30k I would attempt to buy that set rather than putting it into a booster box of unlimited.

I 100% agree with that.

I mean, in an UNL box you're going to get 3 dual lands (worth a little more than their REV counterparts), maybe $ 2,000 in P9 and/or Time Vault if you're lucky and basically a whole lot of next-to-worthless stuff (try comparing value of an A/B NM Balance, Fastbond etc., not to mention Kudzu or Kormus Bell, with an UNL one...).

Of course the sealed box has its value as a specific and very rare item, but it can't be totally unrelated to its hypotethical contents...
