Splendid Genesis Value/Availability

Hey all.

I had a question from a person I know as to how many Splendid Genesis there were, and what they're actually worth.

If I recall correctly, there's only 50, and the last one I saw on the market was several thousand dollars.

Can anyone confirm the availability and price on one of these? Thanks!

"It is estimated that one sheet of Splendid Genesis cards and two sheets of Fraternal Exaltation cards were printed, indicating 110 copies of the former card and and 220 copies of the latter card to exist."

As for the pricing, that's really up to the buyer/collector. I wasn't willing to buy one for $800, but others have paid $2000-3000 for one. If you had a super mint copy of one, I could see it fetching some nice money, as many had bent corners, imperfections, from being placed inside the commemoration card.
