I have a couple of his Fire and Ice drawings.

Very sad day... I bet somebody (probably a lot of people) wish they bid higher on his piece in the Heritage Auction last Thursday :wink:

No, but he was one of the original artists of the modern fantasy genre. He influenced many of today's Magic artists.

He influenced all of modern fantasy art. He's like the Richard Garfield of fantasy art. He's right there with Tolkien as far as "fantasy" legends I'd say. He was the undisputed grandmaster fantasy artist for sure.

~There might have been no D&D without Frank Frazetta and therefore possibly no MTG. His influence was MASSIVE... I could go on and on.
