Value: Miscut Force of Will
how much do you reckon a miscut FOW would go for? It shows a red card on the top and the blue reaches the bottom (no black bottom border).

You see, my reasoning is that all miscuts are far more worthy than their "normal" counterpart usually, for the obvious reason they're rarer and sought by misprint collectors.normalbrains wrote:the back is also miscut the same way. i value it much higher than that. id like to hear others' opinions.ende73 wrote:Assuming the back is miscut the same way I'd say 30ish or so. I'd personally rate it MUCH higher if the back is centered.
However Force of Will's value as a normal card is clearly due to its immense playability, and therefore its non-tourney legal counterpart might not be that valuable in relative terms.
To make my point using an extreme example, I'm not so sure that a miscut Beta Black Lotus showing a second card both front and back (and therefore not tourney-legal) would fetch more than a regular Beta Black Lotus, since misprint collectors would seek it but players would refrain from bidding.
It'd be interesting to see other points of view on this, but if Pickle.69 recalls correctly that this FoW got $40 on Ebay last time, then that sort of confirms what I'm saying.

I think I saw this card on ebay a while back and I think it went for 45$us-ish
My username was lordsilver, but it displayed as secretgiant. I am the same user.

I'm quite sure I've seen that exact same FoW or one miscut just as much with a red card on top a few years back ;-D
Funny if it's the same one :-)
Was it a card you bought to make profit? I can understand a price of $75 if you actually wanted it for yourself, but wouldn't bet my money on it being easy to sell for more
