Japanese WB Fourth Edition starters

Post by WrathoGod21 » Tue Mar 17, 2015 1:10 pm

Hi folks,

I recently picked up four sealed Japanese WB fourth edition starter decks.

Now, my question is: what are these starters worth? I suppose there are not that rare however I couldn't find realistic prices neither here on this board nor elsewhere on the internet.

I'd also like to know how you can tell the difference between a WB and a BB Japanese booster. It is fairly simple to distinguish BB and WB Japanese starters due to the WOC ( WOC22004 WB / WOC22000 BB ) so it might be as easy for boosters as well?

I appreciate your input!

Great find! I don't know much about their value, but from what I've read, I'm under the impression that they are fairly rare. I remember someone who was wanting a Swamp and was having a real hard time finding it because the basic lands were only in the starter decks.

WB Japanese 4th are harder to find than FBB, but the demand is low so I'm not sure they are worth more except maybe to a handful of key collectors

Thank you very much for your helpful answers and statements.

@berkumps: To be honest, I have just 3 completely sealed starters and one where the blister was removed but the cards themselves are still sealed. First card is a nice Island ;-)

Just let me know what you would offer for one of those starters.

Nice pick-up!

Now go back and pick up some boosters for me :)

No idea of cost, I got mine at issue price years ago.

Yes I can certainly confirm the WOC numbers of both the starter and the booster for wb Japanese are correct.

@GlobalBoosterHunter: Your wish is my command ;-) I just grabbed another 7 boosters.
