What grade do you think that would get?
Hi

For your info, not every Member is having or using FB, so please grab the scan from there to put it here. Thanks

EDIT: I added the pic

Yeah Paul I pretty much think like you, but hey, what can we do?! I'm glad to know I'm not off the track with my thinking.

Paris, I've asked for scans of all the cards mentioned in my message, but he never sent them to me, even if he said he did. Scans of the front of some cards are available on FB, but no backs yet. So to answer your question, it's hard to determine what grade would this Birds get since we can't see the back. Centering is a little off, but nevertheless it looks clean, so if the back is as clean as the front it could fetch BGS 9.5. I don't think it would be lower than BGS 9, but who knows.

Hi Matt

I hear that a lot lately from some Collectors, looks like it's also a commercial way to bring new clients to his FB website

I agree. First thing I check for on raw cards is back condition, then I move to the front. So back scan is crucial to help gauge what this might grade out at.

Probably a 9 overall due to centering.

Hey, is about $350 still the going price for a crap Summer rare (i.e. the Laces, Web, etc)?

At that price I'll take all of them even if I have to take a loan. I think you'd be looking more at like 800$ or so, maybe even more in some cases.

What do you other guys think?

For the really bad rares (that won't even have nostalgic value for anyone), I think it's definitely more than $350, but maybe less than $800. There's a summer Granite Gargoyle that's been on eBay for a long time at $750 with nobody buying it.

Note that the original post here was in Euros, and 350 Euros is around $469 us dollars at the moment.

What is a reasonable price for a complete nm summer set atm if we assume everything would be at least BGS 8?

Any thoughts?

Maybe I should have mentioned in NM/M condition though (worth grading), and let's not forget that seller only has 1 feedback (I'm sorry in advance if that seller is known in the MTG community, I don't know him).

But anyway, Summer pricing is REALLY subjective as we all know :)

I think the assessment given is a little on the low side. I feel if a PSA8+ or BGS 8+ set came up for sale it would be easily $400k+.

Hi Brian

My assessment was more based on a NM Set than a Graded one, as I don't know value of Graded cards, you're the expert for those.
