Sealed Beta Starter Value

Hey all,

A friend of mine has a factory sealed Beta Starter, and he's wondering what the value is.

Anyone want to help out? Anyone need one?

I think these are in the $2500 range now. It's been a while since I've seen one for sale.

There have been 3 that have ended on eBay since May. They went for $1800, $2000, and $2150 respectively. They were all sold by fairly large sellers, none were from 0 feedback guys or anything like that (they were all 3 best offers, so if you look them up you have to pull up the actual auction to see the sales price).

If your friend is interested in selling it and not paying eBay fees, tell them to shoot me an e-mail. I need a Beta starter for my sealed product collection so I would definitely be interested in it.

Thanks for the price range, I will know how much to set aside.

There was an alpha for something like 3000 Euro but it hasn't sold and it has been up for a long time.

If anyone else is tempted out by these prices and thinking of unloading a beta starter (or Alpha) then there are probably a few people on the forum with more money than sense.
