Jason Chen's signature

Post by i_set_fire » Tue Nov 29, 2011 5:29 pm

I thought that his signature was fairly easy to get. Then I saw the signed Russian Jace 2 go for over 220$ on ebay. I had no problem picking up 3 Russian Jace 2 for 90 or less. Even overpriced dealers in Russia sell them for 100$. Does his signature really raise the value almost triple or is this a fluke?

IMO a signature kills the value of the card but that's just me I prefer my cards without ink. I'm going to call this one a fluke. The only cards I feel that should be worth more are the ones from artist that have passed or AP's with sketches.

I didn't think he signed by mail and hasn't had any appearances previous to worlds in quite a while. I guess he does still do appearances at least, so not as hard as some.

He doesn't sign via mail...No exceptions

He attend 2 or 3 events so far (that I know). That's why the prices are so high.

Worlds was his third event I believe. The other 2 appearances were in Asia.
