Sounds about right. Seems like this one might go out of a comfortable price range though as there hasn't been any available in a while.

Summer Islands I'd put closer to $250-$300 these days. People have offered $200 for Mountains in recent months.
BGS 9+ Alpha set 282/295 (97.29%) Avg 9.41
BGS 9.5+ Beta set 283/302 (93.71%) Avg 9.58
BGS 9.5+ Arabian set 35/92 (38.04%) Avg 9.62
BGS 9.5+ Antiquities set 82/100 (82%) Avg 9.64
BGS 9.5+ Legends set 279/310 (90.00%) Avg 9.61

@Magic yeah, I've been seeing a lot of interest lately
@caquaa I was actually referring to some of the stuff I was carrying but I did a quick ebay search and saw what you were referencing. Thanks :-D

I'm gonna fight tooth and nail for some of the higher end stuff when it comes out.. hippie, tropical island etc

>:-(

if i had the money your summer and the no symbol guru would have sold instantly. I doubt I'll find them in the price range you were offering them at. It just takes a tad longer to find a buyer when using motl/ml as opposed to ebay given such an item.

I really hope the $300 number is wrong, but I could easily see it :(

maybe I can trade some power for basic islands... bleh! Seems like a horrible idea.

I have a funny feeling people are trying to add them to there T1 decks and EDH decks. People are going to the extremes to get unique stuff these days for there decks.

Actually it doesn't seen as how summer mountains and islands were 50-60$ and 100-120$ respectively less than a year ago and now are about triple that; while power has remained pretty much the same with only a small increase.

I'm sure the population for Power vs Summer basics is extremely lopsided. So I don't see it being a bad trade off is your getting rid of played Unlimited pieces.

that first batch of summer to go added a lot of nice data points for a relatively illiquid and private market.

i think some of the commons on BIN went as well as a result.

anyone win anything?

I needed about 4 of those cards to fill some of my Summer set holes but it seems the summer prices are becoming too high to keep thinking about buying... so now I am starting to consider selling after seeing what all those commons were going for. It was not long ago that the typical common (including land) price was 45-65 avg.

And the land prices are going crazy. Which will actually be a blessing for once if I decide to crack my packs and see a bunch of land in there :-D

Those basic land prices were very high, but we probably need to wait for more to end before drawing any conclusion on where prices are headed. With more listed in the coming weeks, the prices would possibly drop. I'm aiming for the high end stuff in the coming weeks :)

Good point, I will reserve judgement till we see what happens as the next few weeks unfold. It will however be interesting to see if folks start snagging up the ABU stuff that has been sitting there for a while as these new prices start to catch up and in some cases beat them.

PS: good luck with the high end stuff, that will be very interesting to watch :-O

The prices may be a bit high since it doesn't hit Ebay too often.

Hopefully the people wanting their collection cards get them!

The last summer card I bought was a PSA 10 Drudge Skeletons for $47. I was going to put $50 on the Craw Wurm, for sng's, but it seems that commons are ridic now.
