I paid a French one 250 €uros a few months ago, which is $375, if that helps.

I am not sure that the French one is rarer than the Japanese one.

I could be interested in buying it if I don't hear from Volcanon who is supposed to sell a complete set to me.

Japanese p2 is fairly rare. It's definately more than 250 euros.

French is also rare. It came from the stock of an ex WotC employee.

Funny that you reply to this topic, and not to me :-)

ok, it turned out to be chinese portal 1. i can't tell if it's s chinese or t chinese. these packs come with basic lands in them right? so if it's s-chinese, they'd be filled with alt art islands and forests right? what would a factory sealed box of s-chinese portal 1 be worth? what about t-shinese portal?

thanks

They are both pretty expensive. T-Chinese is more expensive than S though.

What's the code on the bottom of the box ?

Portal 1 S chinese is way more expensive than T chinese.
In each S chinese pack you'll have a basic land with alternate art (all but no swamps).

Definitely not :-)

T-Chinese boxes were $900 last year, dropping to $700, S-Chinese are less than this.

You may find S Chinese Portal cards more easily than T Chinese ones.

They show every now and then on Ebay for $400-500.

Next time I see one, I'll tell you. I never bought any, as I have the complete set already.

That's true imo, S-Chinese must be more expensive because of this fact, also you have the chance to get the AA Starlit Angel, don't know the price of it at the moment, but I paid over 100 bucks for each...

Must be : probably

But that is not the case (unfortunately ?)

Personally, I'd enjoy buying T-Chinese Portal at a cheaper price.

I think I sold one to a member for high $100+, near $200.
