Hi all.
I'm compiling the list. Indeed, I have 279 different APs from the Beta set. Didn't remember I was so close to finishing the set.
I remember that I stopped after being ripped off by Christopher Rush himself (paid for the APs but never get them) and after I was close to being ripped off by Rob Alexander (finally got my APs after more than 18 months when I saw him in person in Paris).
I have full sets from most artists. Missing cards are to be found among C. Rush (cf. supra), Richard Thomas, Jesper Myrfors, Mark Tedin, Drew Ticker (Plateau) and Brian Snoddy (Volcanic Island).
I will provide individual answers later but I can already say that I will not sell as a lot. So I won't provide an estimate for the whole collection.
Best regards,
Eric.

I have the Serra Angel and I also have a Stasis :) Certainly both are among the biggest APs / hardest to find / most expensive (or at least they used to ...)98ViperGTS wrote:What of the bigger cards do you have?

Damn, you would think being the artists who created these iconic images and being in the public eye.Erl00 wrote:I remember that I stopped after being ripped off by Christopher Rush himself (paid for the APs but never get them) and after I was close to being ripped off by Rob Alexander (finally got my APs after more than 18 months when I saw him in person in Paris).
They would never be too busy to take care of business for a fan of their works.
They mostly get work through "piece work" which is directly linked to public relations.
Also hello Eric, nice to see your still around the forums.
I have enough cards to stack them all up, and commit suicide off the top!

Glad to see that cards arrived safely :)
The story with C. Rush was a huge mess. He was divorcing from his wife, she was supposed to have the cards, etc. etc.
I have dozens of e-mails from hi, from his wife, I have paid ~$150 and never got the proofs ...

That was truely a heartrending and chaotic time for Chris. Remembering my own divorce--which was quite civil--and what "went missing", I can understand. I know Chris well enough to believe that if he could have fixed it he would have.Erl00 wrote:The story with C. Rush was a huge mess. This doesn't make sense. I really can't agree that Eric in France has to pay for Rush's divorce, nor that Mr. Rush doesn't have $150 to make good for it now. If the story is confirmed, Rush is guilty of mail fraud, it's as simple as that. I really don't understand why people on these boards are so indulgent with rippers sometimes.mystical_tutor wrote:That was truely a heartrending and chaotic time for Chris.
