Let's play a little game about promos..

Ok, as most here would know, I own a game store. I am starting a give-away locally, where when someone buys anything Magic related for $30 or more, they get a random promo card (no, not ones I was sent by WotC, which is the point of this little game).

So, I needed a ton of promo cards. I remembered that T&T had posted 1000 promo lots of EBay for pretty cheap. Little did I know that those auctions were done, but instead they had them as single cards (random promo, but one at a time) on their website.

So I bought _2600_ of them. Obviously I knew there would be massive quantities of some of the cards.

Your challenge is to GUESS the top 3.

In other words, what 3 promo cards (in order if you want to really try to be studly) were the most common promos in this massive lot I bought from them. Remember these can be ANY kind of promo, FNM, Buy it by the box, Arena, whatever.

As an added contest, quess what the most common textless promo was in the lot..

1000/2600 were combination of Arena + Sewers of Estark Harper Prism promos
500/2600 were Budoka Pupil Betrayers release event promo
100/2600 were either Oxidize or Reciprocate textless player rewards

Well, 3 of the 4 have been mentioned, but the number one promo hasn't come up yet..and, just for the record, there were well over 100 different promos, so it wasn't 1000 of one and 800 of another, but some WERE well into the 100s..;-)

Ice Age Promo 4,000,000 cards (all commons)

The Ice Age promo commons are: Aurochs, Balduvian Barbarians, Bone Shaman,
Chub Toad, Dire Wolves, Essence Flare, Flygja, Gaze of Pain, Gorilla Pack,
Norritt, Prismatic Ward, Scaled Wurm, Word of Undoing. About 50% of the
promo cards were Norritts.

So i guess the missing card is Nalathni Dragon

Nah, I don't do brag posts..those tend to be annoying, and pointless, hehe.

Tho there were, strangely, no Mana Crypts at all..sniff. I was surprised to get one textless ponder, 4 watchwolves, 25 of the Eventide pre-release promos, and other stuff which didn't suck...
