Philip;
From the scans I can not tell. If something is sun bleached, however, it usually degrades the paper--not sure how it would affect foil.
Sorry.

Ya, thats why 3rd edition looked so bad. I think CM spread them all over the yard after they printed them--just to fade them a bit........Gryfalia wrote:Usually a bleached card is caused by the complete lack of a color, and those seem to have all of them. Sun-faded cards are just..less colorful.
I would guess sun-faded, but this is one of the reasons that they aren't a hugely valuable rarity, because you can't be sure.

No, that would be because they were intentionally printed with less ink, making the entire run very weak color-wise.
I think a terminology clarification might help. I used bleached fuzzily below, which gets confusing.
When I said bleached the word I was searching for (and had a total mental blank when I was posting) is Albino. Pardon the confusion.
So, using the term 'bleached' to refer to cards that are 'weaker than they should be' (which doesn't include Revised, which is as weak as it was intended to be..just intended poorly), I'm not sure I've see cards that are bleached out both in the middle and on the edges. I have a ton of Stronghold cards whose center colors are very washed out but whose edges are sharp and black. Same some 10th edition.
With those foils, it's really hard to tell the depth of the black color on the edges, partially because the nature of foils. In person how does the black look to you?
