Did you do a BoP for Yoshi yet?

No I haven't. Bird in general I find dont have too much detail in them so I dont think they would look good in 3D. If I were to do birds it would have to be the 7th Edition picture.

Also unfortunately I helped yoshi unload all his spare/extra birds on ebay. I really dont wan't to go through the hassle of buying and destroying that many of a playable card.

How about Will-o-the-Wisp? You can put the trees and grass in the foreground, and use the reflections of the wisps to determine how high they should be.

Its possible. My only concern with that card is that the wisps themselves dont have really sharp defined borders. They are more or less surrounded by a hazy glow, which might make them look wierd if I just cut them into circles.

What do you think?

I suppose you could cut the brighter centralized circle so that it sits higher than the hazy circle. As for the hazy circle, i guess it would be up to your discretion where it ends.

As for the water, you could put layers in that aswell to represent it getting closer to shore. Not sure how thick (or how many) layers is right, but just an idea.

Demonic Hordes would look great, but of course the thin cutting will be difficult
