New "Hairy Runesword"?

Post by berkumps » Wed Nov 30, 2011 3:27 am

So I was looking through some junk, and I noticed that 4 of 10 Revised Throne of Bone's have this faint blue line near the top of the picture. It extends from the middle of the picture to just underneath the 'h' in Throne, stops, then a bit more just to the left of the black outline.

Anyone else with a stack of Revised Throne of Bone's feel like checking?

Hey Mark nice find.

I pulled out my box of Revised and sure enough out of about a dozen TOBs I found 2 with the blue "hair" you discovered.

Top 2 are with hair and bottom 2 without

You obviously have too much time on your hands and you spend it all looking at MTG cards.......

Seriously, that is a reall find (from a "never noticed that before" point of view). How long has that been out? Great detective work. Now I have to remember to look for those when I get back to the US--one thing for sure, if I have any they will be mint, unplayed.

I have 1 with and 3 without. Certainly it is the ones without the line that are worth a fortune, right? :-\'

I have 4 with and 1 without. More surprisingly though is that I have one with playwear. Why do beginners always think that lifegain actually wins games?

Playwear??? Are you sure? Maybe it was just used under a table leg to keep it from tipping.
