Korean card name text.
This is an intrum posting as this list is not complete.
In the last colum some cards have an = sign behind them. In these cases I have copied the name from a cazd or a scan. Those without this have been copied from a card in another set (i.e. 5th Ed COP red is copied from the 4th Ed.). I have tried hard to reduce the number of errors and my wife has proffed the list also. There are a couple from scans that I am concerned about but only with the original card could I be sure.
If any of you have Korean cards whos titles are not on this list that you don't want or would loan for copying please contact me.
Ertai's Familiar has offered to scan the cards he has and that will be a big help.

LOL, joke is on me. I remember telling myself to be sure and add these but I forgot all about them.
Thanks for reminding me.

I have updated the Korean card name list with 2012 in Korean.
http://www.mediafire.com/?b8vuf5kuvx2i254
My wife deserves a pat on the back for proofing the list--the number of errors she corrected is classified "Secret". I did real good except for one day when I consistantly used a wrong letter. Had to do them in small batches before my eyes went hazy on me.
OBTW Just for the niceness of it--please give me credit when you post any of this publicly.... one hell of a lot of work.
1044 out of 2396 done, not even half yet.
NOTE: The original 4th edition list was wrong for two cards that I transposed. The correct ones are:
Giant Spider 걷안의 거미
Giant Strength 거대한 힘
They are correct on this list.

Korean Innistrad is scheduled for release in "December". I probably won't be able to pick it up until Janurary.Alien_Starfighter_Pilot wrote:I find it curious that the Gatherer does not have Korean M12 added yet.... at the same time, currently only the English names for Innistrad show up, and Innistrad has been out for like 6 weeks now.
Someone at WOTC has been on vacation or something for wayyyy too long now.

Through some inovative Googling Claude found all the Korean card names.
I am going to try and update my excel sheet with these so they will all be in one place and in a format that people can adjust as they desire. Won't happen today but I should be able to get on it in a few days.
Thanks much Claude.....

Here is the first serious scrub of the Korean card names:

Please read the notes at the top and if possible give me feedback on names that need updated or changed.
One name is missing, Lightning Cloud from Visions.

Hello All,
Gary, thanks for compiling the Korean names onto Excel. I copied your lists and put them into the following:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... n_US#gid=0
I still have a lot of compiling to go with this, as I have progressed up to 6th/Urza's Destiny. I have done as much as I can with the sets prior to 6th/UD, and am still missing some of the names from those sets. Would someone please forward me the following lists of foreign names (both English & language noted):
4th Traditional Chinese
P3K Simplified Chinese
Korean name for Lightning Cloud (Visions)
Traditional Chinese names for Hunting Cheetah and Trained Cheetah (P3K)
As I only have the Brian Hacker Deck out of the Pro Tour/World Championship Decks, I need help with completing that list, too. I have highlighted cells where I wasn't sure what would be correct (art version, artist, etc).
Also, if anyone has any promotional cards that were printed in a language where I have not listed the name, please let me know.
please PM me all updates to the lists if you can help provide the information.

This is my present list to include Innistrad. My wife has not been able to proof it yet so there may be some changes (in fact I'd bet on it) but because some people have already asked for specific names I'll post it. If you have a question pm me for the specific card you need and I'll double check them.

PS she found only one error in my typing. I will have a list that corrects that up soon.

Wow! am I happy! WotC has a checklist for DA in Korean.

That is going to give my eyesight a well deserved rest.

I found a website that has the Portuguese P2A names, so I can now cross that off the list to compile into the database I've started.
I'm also in the process of updating all of the promos, as I have neglected updating through all of 2012.
