Is there a rule or consistency, when the copyright line for blue cards is in white and when in black ?

I just realized for Ice Age:

Blue German Ice Age commons commons have a white copyright line
Blue English Ice Age commons commons have a black copyright line

Homelands and Alliances english and german blue copyright text is both white

Mirage , visions, weatherlight english and german blue copyright text is both white as in all later sets

But i have a Mirage French Flash with black copyright, where the english is white.
So is there an inconsistency for blue French Mirage cards or maybe more languages and even more sets as well when it comes to copyright line color ?

I had a look at my Blue Elemental Blast Global set (only missing 4 cards), and it looks like the really early cards without a copyright date (English Revised and prior) use grey.

Once the copyright date shows up, it's black until it turns white on Japanese 4th black border, Korean 4th black border, Traditional Chinese 4th black border & Japanese 4th white border, basicaly the asian language were white in 4th. (I'm missing both the Portuguese Blue Elemental Blasts, so I can't comment on that language, but I'd expect it to be black like the european languages.)

Blue Elemental Blast was only printed until 4th edition, so I glanced at my Twiddle Global set. I'm still missing a lot of Twiddles, so what follows isn't complete information. It looks like French & Spanish used a black copyright in 5th, with the other languages being white. All white in 7th. All black in 8th.

I hope that helps give you sort of an idea when the changes took place.

This inconsistency goes through several sets, but always affects the whole set.

i just encountered Ice Age Multicolor Cards:

English cards have black copyright lines

German/Portuguese cards have white copyright lines

Same is true for alliances multicolor

In multicolor Mirage both english and german/portuguese cards have white copyright lines

I noticed something funny about the copyright in English Homelands legendary cards, and posted about it a few years back:

"For all Homelands Artifacts, Black, Blue, and Green Cards the copyright line is printed in White Ink. For all Homelands Lands, Red, and White cards the copyright line is printed in Black Ink.

I imagine this is so, as it is easier to read the copyright date against those colored borders.

However, that isn't the interesting part, what's interesting is that for every Legendary creature in Red and White, the copyright line is printed in White ink (instead of Black like the rest of the Red & White cards).

I'm just trying to figure out why this "misprint" is only associated with the Legendary creatures."

I also posted elsewhere, but cannot find at the moment, how this translated to all the other languages of Homelands, and whether this copyright coloring was consistent across the foreign languages. I'll try to find it or repost here.

I have no idea what formula they use to determine what color the copyright line should be, because there are always examples that contradict.
