Authenticating 8th Ed test prints

Post by gzeiger » Fri Mar 01, 2013 2:14 am

I have an unfortunate history of picking up things I don't know enough about. Can anyone tell me a little the 8th Edition alternate frame test prints? Especially, are they printed on normal cardstock?

Test prints with the Unglued symbol are printed on normal cardstock, thus they are playable as normal cards, for example in edh decks without having to be afraid of damaging them when shuffling.

but the judgement ones are printed on thinner cardstock.

this fact alone would make the unglued ones more valuable. i dont consider the judgement ones are as magic cards, but thats a personal opinion.

toploader is correct - the Unglued symbol ones are quite a bit thicker than the Judgment ones. The print quality also seems a little better on the Unglued ones.
