I recently saw an ended auction with an alternate art version of the M13 Goblin token that looks like this (it says "League" at the bottom beside the copyright line):



Anyone know how they were released? Is this just a case of a store/someone selling some promos they shouldn't be?

it's a promo given to the top 8 of the M13 Magic League.

There are leagues starting up soon for M2013 that run 5 weeks, and the prize is supposed to be these alt-art tokens. The leagues don't start until this week or next week, so these certainly shouldn't be for sale yet.
