Sounds like time to do some bribing or mugging........Gryfalia wrote:Ah, so THIS is what my niece's boyfriend won. She bought him some sleeves from my store, he entered and she said 'a playmat' just showed up on his doorstep ...

Well, if he stops being "Mr. Nice Guy" to your neice----Gryfalia wrote:Nah, he seems to be too nice of a guy to mug, so I'm working on bribing. He might be overvaluing it a bit tho, we'll see. The only one I've seen complete on EBay went for $79...

Was this someone here that won?

I put in a bid as a reminder, then forgot about it and it went way too cheap. Contacted the seller and its already shipped to the buyer, I was hoping he wouldn't pay or arrange to have it shipped. I feel kinda dumb letting this slip through.

Yah, it took me a bit to figure out what it was when I stumbled on the auction. The person selling obviously knew nothing about what they had. Seems it was for some PTA fund raiser. There wasn't any other magic items being sold.
You paid $300? The last one I had seen sell for ~$75-80. It would have been a nice little profit margin for me either way.
