Japanese promo cards

Post by Mister Foilcard » Thu Aug 27, 2009 7:46 pm

Is there anybody who can say, in which programs the following Japanese promo cards were released:

清浄の名誉 (Honor of the Pure)
蟻の女王 (Ant Queen)
ドラゴンの大母 (Dragon Broodmother)
地獄火花の精霊 (Hellspark Elemental)
新たなアラーラの騎士 (Knight of New Alara)
マリーシの双子爪 (Marisi's Twinclaws)
精神の制御 (Mind Control)
墓場からの復活 (Rise from the Grave)
ボーラスの奴隷 (Slave Of Bolas)
吸血鬼の夜侯 (Vampire Nocturnus)
ヴァレロンに仕える者 (Steward of Valeron)
野生語りのガラク (Garruk Wildspeaker)

We need this information for the Librarities.

Ant Queen has been released.
If you have some spare time, go to Yahoo Auction and copy paste the japanese name. If there's been a promo made of it in japanese it should show up there.

I'm fairly certain that there is no Japanese Foil Garruk Wildspeaker promo.

Thank you very much, but there's no Gateway program in Japan. So the question isn't answered: in which Japanese (!) programs these cards were released?

Hi Japanese Members
Since Gateway doesn't exist in Japan, are those WPN Promos Japanese?
I need the info so I can put them in the appropriate sub-section on the website.

Hi Hiro
Getting awfuly lost with All these New Promos and different programs that are not the same all over the world, can you tell me which cards belong to the Japanese Magic Colosseo Program, as I spend my time adding cards in sub-sections these last days, then removing them.I will modify once it's clear.Regarding "Award" does it mean that it was not a participation bonus but a prize Only for Winners? Thanks for your help.

Thanks Hiro, what about the Magic Colosseo cards? Which ones are Colosseo in fact the 2008 ones and the 2 first ones of 2009, by what I understand starting Path to Exile, I need to add them in the WPN sub-section that I'm creating right now, but I want to know first for sure.

Hi Japanese Members
I'm working since this morning with Hiro to solve some mysteries about Japanese Promos cards, so I have some questions:

MAGIC COLOSSEO 2008
Oona's Blackguard (Feb)
Cenn's Tactician (Mar)
Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers (May)
Boggart Ram-Gang (Jun)
Mind Stone (Jul) ( Same illus from older Arena League)
Selkie Hedge-Mage (Aug)
Boggart Ram-Gang (Sep)

While there was no Magic Colosseo card in April 2008.Where belongs the card:
デュルガーの垣魔道士Duergar Hedge-Mage
Regarding the card Mind Stone, Hiro told me that it was a Magic Colosseo Award, does it mean that Mind Stone is Not an Arena League Japanese Promo? What about the Mad Auntie card?

In which section this card belongs?
迷いし者の番人|Shepherd of the Lost|*34/249|Kekai Kotaki|DCI symbol, Dengeki Character Festival, Chiba, 2009 Promo (2009-10-03)

All these Promos and different Programs are one of the worst headache for a Collector #-o
Want/Have Lists.

Alexis,

I believe could add to that the limited numbers and the language barrier. It becomes a nightmare :)

My special thanks goes to Masaaki and Hiromichi, for their help.

Big Thanks to Hiro, that helps me to solve those mysteries =D>

MAGIC COLOSSEO 2008
Oona's Blackguard (Feb)
Cenn's Tactician (Mar)
Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers (May)
Boggart Ram-Gang (Jun)
Mind Stone (Jul) ( Same illus from older Arena League)
Selkie Hedge-Mage (Aug)
Duergar Hedge-Mage (Sep)

So the Magic Colosseo section is done, I will not addd the Mind Stone in there, just mention in the Arena League Japanese that was also the Magic Colosseo card for July 2007.I added also info about Boomerang and Llanowar Elves that were Game Japan Magazine November 2007 Promo Cards also.

In which section this card belongs?

Exactly. Before all the new language releases just organizing the English language cards was/is a nightmare.

Thank you all for your contributions. The only reason this board is #1 in the world of Magic collecting is because of a lot of hard work and willing contributions.
