Wizards seems only have tourny locators... is that where the trade shows (with rare stuff) are at? Dont i need invite or something to go to the bigger tournies?

Erm, how do you mean? There isn't some secret cabal of people dealing with rarities at special, invite only large swap meets. That's because it wouldn't be worth the trouble. While it's fun and everything to deal with rarities, the bread and butter of the industry will always be $4-$20 cards that thousands of people want, not $500 cards that 5 people want.
A true 'trade show' is only for people in the industry. We get invited because we are real, honest to goodness business with licenses and everything.
Your best bet to find stuff is go to large tourneys (nationals, pre-releases, pro tours) and hit up the dealers. Individual people might have a couple cool things (on average), but for ease of finding things dealers are helpful. Of course they tend to cost a lot more too, but there is a price to be paid..hehe.

This is such an open ended question that has infinite possible answers. Any good dealer will have "Rarities" in there personal collection. Whether they want to sell them or not that's the question. I personally have a "few" rarities but unless I get really good numbers on them I wouldn't let them go. It all depends what your looking for and what your willing to pay. Most of the higher end rarities will cost you $250+. Magazine inserts such as the Gotto stuff you'll pay at least $25-$35 on the Archangel. Sealed 6x9 Rebecca Guay magazines will cost you $75-$125. Most dealers don't carry around 6x9 cards so if your looking for that stuff you would have to inquire about it before the show. If your looking for a 6x9 Guay Archangel let me know I have a few still sealed with the comic.shaselai1 wrote:do those dealers at the higher tournies have rare stuff like magazine inserts etc? And you know any dealers with very rare stuff to contact?

I have one of the largest collections of 6X9 cards (800+ and counting) in the world. I never got a single one at a trade show or tournament (not that I didn't try, it just wasn't a priority).
I got the vast majority of mine in one of three places:
1. on Ebay
2. from the bigger on-line dealers
3. from rarities collectors, including those on this site.
It just takes time and effort, since many of them are not all that common.
