Does that mean it will exist in foil at some point?

Remove Contract from Below from your deck before playing if you're not playing for ante.
Discard your hand, add the top card of your library to the ante, then draw seven cards.
Hmmmmm, foil promo, don't think so. Ante is a big no no

Ante is banned since long time ago

Considering there's no card name (blacked out - and the blacked out region is too short to be 'contract from below'), It having a shooting star (which non of the new foils have), the name of the artist is wrong (it looks too short to be Douglas Schuler), and it having no "DCI" or "FNM" markings, I would say it's just a proxy someone made.

Also if you look really closely at the one furthest to the left you can sorta see some sort of cutline that doesnt match the txt box where the shooting star is.

Hi,

yep, that was pretty much what I was thinking, once I had got a close-up of the pic!

A foil proxy of CFB tho? Some people are weird.... :-D

Thanks,
Karen

Yeah, definitely homemade, and from what hasn't been blackened out they appear to have been made on top of foil Unearth's

This seems to be a fairly popular thing to do in the 5-Color community, at least from what I've read about the internet. Basically you take the foil layer off off a black old-style foil, cut out the art and text box, and apply it to a Contract. Either that or you cut the art and text box out of a Contract and attach them to a foil. I forget.

Oh, yeah, those are someone's homemade proxies. The reason I asked was that Mykeatog predicted that Tundra, Mana Drain, Contract, and I think one other card would be DCI promos by 2006 or so, and he was very sure of it at the time.

I'm pretty sure those were prizes from 5 Color tournaments a few years ago.
