Hi Guys !
I'm a "old Mtg wolf"... but a friend of mine (as well old wolf) has perhaps discover something really strange that I have never seen describe somewhere....
Let me explain !
For memory we have as basic edition in French the following states :
- Revised French FBB dated 1994. (Limited Edition)
- Revised French FWB dated 1994 (Unlimited Edition).
- 4th edition dated 1995.
- Rivals French Deck cards dated 1996.
BUT it seems that some cards of the Revised FWB are dated 1995 and not 1994 !
(So not to be confound with the 4th edition if you follow me).
There's some Terms / Rules / flavour texts errated from Revised FBB french 1994 to Revised WFB 1994 (Dated 1995 !?).
If you follow me......
---> 11 french cards seems to in this case :
- Jandor's Ring (Anneau de Jouber) (NOT IN 4TH ED).
- Contract from Bellow (Contrat avec les Enfers) (NOT IN 4TH ED).
- Black Vise (Etau de Supplice).
- Grizzly Bears (Grizzly).
- Island Fish Jasconius (Ile-Poisson Seyidna Yunus).
- Island Sanctuary (ile Sanctuaire).
- Library of Leng (Bibliothèque de Leng).
- Nether Shadow (Mânes Infernaux).
- Primal Clay (Argile Primordiale).
- Scryb Sprites (Farfadets de la Scrutaie).
- Will-O'-The Wisp (Feu Follets).
Does anyone knows this very special specificites ?
Got some pic to show just down.
Note that "Jandor's Ring" and "Contract from Bellow" can be compare because not in 4tH Edition but the others YES.
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
4Th Ed French Pic. (For Compare).
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
4Th Ed French Pic. (For Compare).
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
4Th Ed French Pic. (For Compare).
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
4Th Ed French Pic. (For Compare).
Revised FWB French 1994 - dated 1995.
4Th Ed French Pic. (For Compare).
Don't have put all pics but some examples.
Thi specificity is perhaps applicated as well and other FWB languages like German, Italian etc... but don't have digg so far...
I suggest to take a relaxing pills to analyse of all this
Thx to my friend to have point this details and shake me this morning during some hours !
Every thougts of course are welcome !
Best
Eric
