Today a new crowdfunding initiative launched on kickstarter, a project for eCounter & eCounter Avatar, two innovations for Magic the Gathering. Check it out!

NASA spent millions of dollars developing an "astronaut pen" which would work in outer space while the Soviets solved the same problem by simply using pencils.

@mmgun - No dice? Most of my decks are very token and/or counter oriented, so I use them a lot. I hardly see any games where people don't use dice. We should play some day! =D>

@dry cereal - You must be one of those people that still cook on a coal stove. Does the job, right?!

Not sure why anything always has to be 'digital' - especially playing offline/analog with friends is what I like about Magic. 8-[

And exchanging dice/tokens? Remembers me of this thread: http://www.magiclibrarities.net/forum/v ... php?t=9017 :-D

There are already apps for life counters and such that are free, so I don't see the point in funding this.

These aren't supossed to be life counters, but counters for creatures strength and toughness, and also regular (Time, cake, whatever...) counters.

They seem not to be quite useful, but I am thinking on buying them... The only problem is they are expected to ship April 2014, which seems like too much...

If I was still playing I might get some for my green deck (what do you call those creatures, like green thrulls, came out about the same time, lots of counters all over the place) Deck hardly ever won but it was fun.

There were no token cards back when I was playing (except in unglued and the ones which came out in the Duelist for Fallen Empires) so this would have been ideal.

We just used glass beads but that got messy.

EDIT: Thallids!
