Between Paris and Amsterdam, definitely Paris, Amsterdam is really far away in comparison

Lille is a bit more than 1h away from Paris (by car or by train)

I know rite?

Ugh. Gonna have to figure that out since I do not own a car. We should play EDH or something this time Chris - Vintage too if you have one of those. I doubt I will be playing in the main event.

There are a few practical reasons for why they do this. Worcester has a very active Magic community of its own. So does Springfield, and so does CT. Not having to drive into Boston proper is actually a deciding factor as to whether people from these areas attend an event or not.

Worcester is also by far a cheaper location to hold an event (for organizers and attendees), and an easier city to find parking in.

Definitely down for some EDH. Karn v. Karn doesn't sound all that attractive though so ill have to come up with a new general.

Have they announced the format yet or just the location?

I agree Tim, I'm just spoiled from earlier events.
