Rob Alexander artist proof binder stolen at GP - Paris

Post by ANALOG_KID » Tue Nov 10, 2009 5:03 am

Librarities members,
Theft has once again reared its ugly head. This time at the Grand Prix event held in Paris, France.
Magic artist Rob Alexander had a binder of artist proofs stolen at the event site.

Below are excerpts of messages between Rob and myself.
Someone stole my binder of artist proofs at the GP in Paris this weekend. Mainly Rav lands, Kamigawa, and some M10 that stand out in my memory. If you see someone selling a lot of them on Ebay or anything, let me know. They are not signed, so they will be sold unsigned, or with a forged signature.
Please have the members get a hold of you if they happen to see or hear anything.
I don't hold out much hope of seeing the cards, but it would be nice to think that the person gets stopped.
Anyone having information that may be relevant to this incident, please remit it to me (Analog_Kid) and it will be forwarded to Mr. Alexander.
Begin the day with a friendly voice...

Ugh... that's just sad.

I'll certainly keep my eyes out, thanks for the info.

Take it easy,

Since Rob has signed a lot of cards for my collection, I sincerely hope the person responsible is caught.

Many AP from Rob are up now on the famous auction site.
The seller is a big name though, so probably they are legit.

well if he is a magic player he can rack those ratings up pretty quick selling singles. If the person is smart he should wait a while to sell or even use them as trade bait in local area.
