On the other hand, a single booster locally is almost usd7 and boxes about 200. (~5.50 & 175 + shipping online)
Would trade the euro-lands for your boosterprices any day!

It was the same with Disney beanies back in 1999. Disney was releasing beanies in the UK that were exclusive to Europe. The thing is that the quality in Europe was far better than the ones made for the US market.

The $ was very strong at that time against European currencies, US collectors had to pay a lot for them nevertheless.

i dont think i can get even 1 copy at reasonable price... one store getting ~5 but he's gonna jack it up to ebay prices and another store that's getting ~20 but wouldnt even answer whether they will be sold @ MSRP or not... i think wizards really screwed this one up especially they couldve made much more money printing more.

even more berserks - great idea ! 8-|

they could have made much more money by setting a realistic retail price.

Well if they made more then there will be less scalpers and cards like berserk would fall way down. If they set a realistic price of 100$ then i guess that would deter people from scalping.

Please have a look at the sales on Ebay ! More than 600 items already sold, and more than 500 currently.

And what about the price !

How much did you pay for yours ?

I got only one from my wholesaler at 17,90 Euros and one from my local store at 59 Euros. I can consider myself lucky...

That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ridiculous !

Euro is probably the best thing that happened to Europe in the last 60 years.

And thank God Europe and the rest of the world was there to manage the abyssal financial crisis in America.

I can not attribute the financial disaster in the US to stupidity. I think the word Greed is much more fitting. Stupidity leaves a small hole for honesty which I don't think has any place in the whole process.

Money being loaned to people that couldn't pay it back
People borrowing money they knew they couldn't pay back
A government that approved of both.

I only see greed here.

And acting like the crisis is confined to America is short-sighted. The rest of the world is culpable as well. Japan is at its highest unemployment levels in 50+ years, economies all over the EU are hurting.

It's probably worst here, but everyone played a part in this.

All economies are linked. If America gets cold, the whole world will sneeze.

Greed of the shareholders is the main problem.

I would never have mentioned that the current crisis is due to stupidity. Americans may be a lot of things, but they are not stupid.
