Hi,

I'll receive this one in a week or 2:

Anyone knows the rough value?

Yes, as mentioned in the title.
Do you have any idea about the value (I think it's in mint condition, but I'll have to see it myself)?

Hmm, here was a discussion about it.

Here the_phoenix wrote 8$.

TnT asks over 100$ on ebay.com :-\

There was also somewhere a discussion about erasing the prerelease date... so be careful.

As TnT I can add,

I would buy any of them I ever saw for less than 40 bucks. In 2007 we have sold 2 of them at 99.99. I do not believe that the market average is this high, but hopefully this helps define the value.

The idea that a misprint of this calibur being worth less than $10 is comical. If anyone on this site ever has a pre-release card without a date on it for sale this cheap, you've got a buyer in me.

In #14 is a date printed in the pic (left side, almost bottom)

For what it's worth I am pretty sure the conversation about being able to 'wipe off' the pre-release date ended without anyone producing any valid results. Someone claimed they could do it everytime easily, but to my knowledge there hasn't been any proof. I also believe that any of the wipe-offs have a noticable indent where the stamp would have been.

I don't mean to open this can again, but you know - any relevant information during a discussion right?

Thanks.

Hi Members.
About 1/3 of the Production of the Laquatus Prerelease in Europe were without a Date.I do have 7 extras now.So value in Europe and US is not the same as apparently almost none or very few were found in the US.
The Prerelease Erasing subject is Totally closed on my part, that's bullshit, you do it watch any kind of marks that are definately showing.

Hi,

actually, I think the ones without the date was given out at the RELEASE event at shops. It was the first trial of this type of event, so they just made up the standard pre-release card for it but left the date off as it would obviously be wrong, as the release event was a week later.

So its not actually a misprint. It was deliberate.

Cheers,
Karen

EDIT: Ebay Link erased (Price was 149 $ from CCGHouse, which I assmume is not representative)

The price of the card really seems to be much higher in the US...

Post by equi-nox76 » Fri Sep 07, 2007 7:43 am

Hi Alexis,
I understand that and will erase this E-Link right after this post  , this should be the last one outside of the Ebay-Reports I have. (you should take it out of your reply too, then it's gone) :-P
