Re: Battlebond: New dual lands
That is great news.
I wondered how WotC was going to get around the Reprint policy. I guess this is better than nothing and will be great for my Commander decks.
I grew up playing MtG with 3-4 opponents, never really played just one on one.
I will probably have to get whatever product these are being sold in, if they can be found in any shops.

Yes but let's see if these "new duals" will be considered as both basic land of each type to be fetched like the original ones...

Re: Battlebond: New dual lands
Based on the pictures revealed, they won't have two basic land types like the "duals" from LIM, RAV/RTR, BFZ, or AKH. And even the mechanic "enters tapped unless you control two X" is familiar for many years now. All they did was to substitute "opponent" for "land" in the condition X. All in all a nice nod towards multiplayer games but IMHO nothing too exciting (unless you collect land cards, of course).Alifromcairo wrote: ↑Fri May 11, 2018 5:40 pmlet's see if these "new duals" will be considered as both basic land of each type

Most people play EDH in small groups (or "pods," if it's organized play). So, yes, I expect them to see moderate demand among that target group.GlobalBoosterHunter wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 5:39 amI grew up playing MtG with 3-4 opponents, never really played just one on one.

We usually play mtg instead of getfing a boardgame out, so there will always be around 6 playing.
I am not keen on lands you can't use on the first turn, still dreaming of that first turn win!

Agreed, thus, the Kaladesh duals are much more interesting !
