I think the most expensive single card I've bought in recent years was S-Chinese Portal AA Starlit Angel for ~$120.

Close 2nd's would be foil Crystalline Sliver (now MUCH cheaper), or Silver Drake CardZ promo (1st & 2nd printing)

Summer Shivan followed by Summer Sol ring which was something like Alpha Lotus, which where 50% of the shivan those where my most expensive.

I admit the most I ever paid was just over $1000. I still feel dirty about it. I have done more in trade though.

I nearly payed 4798 for a The Abyss, I did not ad the semicolon after the 7.
So I was happy to have "won" it at 57, puh.

second highest bid on eba was 2.5K for the summer shivan I missed :(
