I was asked 2 questions that were interesting so I will post my answer to them :

Q : Why did you put all 4 lands on Ebay, I thought you'd list just one and consider the final price as a final value.

A : I offered the set on Ebay, because I thought that if someone wanted the whole set, he would have the chance to do so.

Also, I wanted to know if there would be variation on the price based on the artist designing the land.

Q : The shipping fees are very high

A : As for the shipping fees, UPS will probably more expensive than $45 and as stated on the auction description, the shipping fees are free if the auction goes higher than $350.

Your questions were interesting though, and since you did not read the description entirely (as it happens most of the time for auctions), I will highlight the shipping fees options right now.

I would very appreciate if you could share the how many people were watching the cards, since I'm very curious about how many people know what they are. They are quite a hidden gem. :)

I'm interested in any doubles you may have.
Never thought we'd see these again, i remember the old auction thread.
Congrats on your win, and them being real.

For the moment, the highest figure is 22 people watching.

People may not know the cards are up on Ebay. If berkumps had not told us, I wouldn't have known myself.

I will update the "watching" figure as it goes higher since you are interested.

I never thought I could own these cards one day, since the second deck was supposed to be destroyed.

But it was a dream come true once the deck was won and the cards proven legitimate.

By any chance could you determine if this was a European/Asian/North American buyer?

I think $45 is a low price for international shipping with any degree of security attached (insurance/signiture/etc.).

An American one, though I think the shipping will be free since there are chances these end up above $350.

I was asked to send these simply registered mail with no insurance. :-O

Depending upon who wins, you need to be careful. If you are paid by Paypal, then unless you ship in a certain way (with signed receipt, etc.) you can end up having to refund the payment. If it is someone you know it isn't a problem.

I know. Besides, who would like to take the risk to have an item like this lost ?

Thanks for posting the front pictures. I put lowball bids on all these to make sure I would be comfortable with the total cost if I were to win all four, and it was getting to be time to decide which one to actually go for.

Yes, and the artists could be important for those who collect this or that artist.

Congratulations.

I will be offline for a few hours but will contact each of the winners this evening (European time).

The cards will be shipped from France using Chronopost International. Shipping will be free as stated previously.

Please let me know if I can indicate the value (though this would be shipped as a document since it is so flat).

I have to say congrats on the deck, great pick up.
The four lands almost paid for half the deck cost alone.

Wow, congratulations on the price! Too rich for my blood, sadly. I thought for sure my bid was high enough.

It says a lot about our community here that a guy with 129 feedback can get $600 for one of these without posting a picture of the actual card, while the last seller didn't even get $80 per card.

Most of the bidders knew who I was, as most of them were from the librarities forum.

But as being the early bird, you deserve to get one of them. I'll get in touch with you.
