These items have been reposted a couple of times. The prices are way too high.

His prices are a JOKE!!!

If Flooded Strand isn't selling at 900...why would Myrfors plains ever go above that?!

BTW Just added Drew Tucker's Warmth to my original art collection; I'll add pics later

"The rumour, at the time was that WOTC had given a list of key art that they wanted to reacquire. Rumour also has it that most of the power 9 and many other key card art are now back in WOTC's hands."

"rumoured to be the last of the power 9 not reacquired"

Does anyone know if there is any truth to these stories? If there is then it seems more like he is waiting for WOTC to cough up the ransom money.

That doesn't justify the absurd prices on the other 2 pieces though

Flooded Strand art is a P.O.S. imo.

There's a constant flood of new art which suppress the current values. Alpha is the way to go if you wanted to take a risk. People make the mistake of thinking that current MTG card collectors/players will dictate the long term value of the artworks. That being said... this guy has a lot of stuff. Maybe second guessing himself about buying so much and hoping to upsell something lesser by attaching outrageous prices to the 3-4 pieces.

Well, Plains is also a POS even if it is Alpha.

Agreed the plains is a POS.... I used flooded strand as an example because Alexander's work tends to fetch premium and is of an equal quality of work or lack of work....
