I followed http://magiclibrarities.net/forum/viewt ... 7508#47508 to http://www.magiclibrary.net/library-credits.html and was served up this spyware:

http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/virus-and- ... E=21199342

Not much that can be done about it since magiclibrarities.net doesn't own the domain but just an FYI!

Hi

Not sure I understand, cause when I clicked the link, I just get on the topic and the second one takes me to another page that used to be the old page for the links on the old website and that is no longer available. Can you explain further. Thanks.

http://www.magiclibrary.net/library-credits.html seems to only intermittently serve up spyware. But as is it's pretty clearly a page ran by a cybersquatter intent on making money so it's not that surprising either..

I updated that post to point to same credits page on our current domain, so no one will accidentally get redirected to a page serving spyware. Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Guys

Is there's something I can do, as I never get redirected to any others pages but the normal Credits page ?

http://ww35.magiclibrary.net/library-credits.html
This is the old link of the credits on the old website. While all the sections and subsections have been updated from HTML to Dynamic, you can still find on Google, links that take to the old website, and there's nothing I can do, I have contacted my webmaster in the past about it, as spending hours to work on a particular subsection and ending up having only the old link showing up (Google memorized the most visited links)

Alexis,

The problem is that links to the old site still exists in some old posts. We would have to go through every post to find these old links and update them. I don't think that's worth doing, so there isn't anything you need to do right now.

If I see any more links like this I will update them as I find them.

Thanks Tim, I know, few days ago, I was updating Internal links in the Magic Rarities subsections to the newer version, more to do. Nothing I can do about the ones on Google.
