Hey it's been a week... so is there any update on how Alexis is doing?

It would be really nice if he could personally give us an update of some sort. His total abandonment of the site, for whatever reason, cannot be a good thing.

I sent him PMs last August regarding magic rarities that once interested him. They haven't even been read.

If he has been in hosital the last 6 months then of course it has not been read ;)

Hi,

I phoned Alexis many times but impossible to join him.
I left him messages but no news $:-\$

So today I tried something else...
I phoned to the technical support of the website.
This guy is the former owner of a French MTG store...
I didn't suceed to join him too

So i phoned the new owner of the store.
He'll ask to this guy if he can help us.
I"ll contact him thursday and he'll tell me if he has (good) news...

If I cannot join Alexis, it's impossible to have ID/password , but maybe " the technical support " can help us to save informations from the site.... before that:

The expiring domain is not the main problem, it only links. The board and the webspace may be a problem.

A deleted forum would be a pity!

Hello Gary,

Thanks for the welcoming words!

I started out to collect a playset of the Beta duals all in NM/Mint-Pack Fresh condition.

After that I figured I would go for a complete Beta set in NM/Mint-Pack Fresh condition. Done with that as well I aimed the same towards Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends ant The Dark.

I am currently trying to figure out if I should try the same approach for Alpha and Unlimited or if I am going with another route (It is very hard to come by NM/Mint-Pack Fresh cards these days, people tend to overgrade their cards and there are alot of fakes).

Just to add as well; I do not like graded nor signed cards at all. All above cards are not graded or signed (some has been graded which I have cracked

)

I will post some pictures of my collection later.

I sure wouldn't discourage you from going for A and UL but it will not be easy.

When you do get some pictures be sure to link to them under the "Collections" section.

Best of luck and let me know if you go for UL I do have some that have not been played.

Thanks dragsamou for activating my account and richard for the mails.

My collecting interests are very similar to olesch. My big goal would be to get a a nice ungraded card from every oldschool set (a to dk with the exception of beta). my alpha set is in a very good progress. I've most of the easy to get cards and nearly all of the trickier ones (fungusaur, animate wall, web etc.) But some of the big cards are still missing (underground sea, ancestral recall...).
