Mike,

I lived in Wrigleyville on W. Sheridan. Great city. I was sorry to move, But the wife got a better job in a warmer climate.

I see silver paladin is a fellow Canuckian :) I'm in Canada too, though more westerner, in Vancouver. Home of rain, ski hills, rain, nature and rain. And the 2010 Olympics of course ;D Quite a few card stores around, some are fairly expensive though.

Hello !

I´m from Germany, Freiburg (Southwest Germany, near border to France and Switzerland; at the edge of the black forest [I love that EURO-Land !]).

Unfortunately there are only one store specialized in Fantasy/SF etc. anymore (but they are great !). This store is the only one organizing tournaments (FNM, Prerelease, Arena)

"Magic-community" is not so big, some die-hard fans (even one or two with Pro Tour-Points !) and collectors, (surprisingly) many young players.

Greetings fellow rarity members:

I live in the good-ole bible belt of Virginia, in Lynchburg. I'm originally from the Motor City of Detroit, but a job brought my wife and I South.

There isn't much for magic around the city, but a 45 minute drive to Roanoke brings me to Star City Games, one the best magic stores in the world. I play there when I can and usually make a day out of it when I go.

If any of you members happen to be in or near the Lynchburg, Roanoke or Richmond area please contact me.
If you have any unopened alpha or beta starters or boosters for sale/trade please email me. I'm also looking for high grade alpha/beta cards. Thanks!

I'm from right near the capital of Michigan (Lansing).

Our best card store in the Lansing Area (The Fortress Comics and Games) has been around for a while, and is still thriving.

A few other, less cool ;-), stores have closed up in the last 3 years here however.

For a short time, a store near me was carrying 3 Kingdoms (which according to WotC isn't released in the US). But aside from that, well, Michigan gets little excitement aside from statewide things like pre-releases.

Over n' out,
Dylan I.

Just out of curiosity, where do you get your M:TG from? That must really be a pain in the butt. I guess being in an area where M:TG flows freely is a thing I just take for granted.
