So, I know where I can obtain one of these beauties.
My question is ... what is it worth?
Also, if anyone is interested, what would you pay?

Alpha-cut 4th seems pretty rare to me.

Should be worth 50ish.

More than a couple serious misprints collectors have told me that they think alpha cut 4ths are either all faked or too simple to fake, especially with an uncut sheet. Another dealer has offered me $15US for my own Carrion Ants. My advice is, if you want to pay the asking price, make sure that the cards edges look excellent or it my be a fake.

Has anyone from Wizards ever confirmed that the Alpha cut 4th edition cards even exist? How do we know this isnt a big conspiracy?

I know they're not fake; I have one that I found mixed in with a bunch of bulk commons/uncommons in a collection.

I can also confirm they are not (all) fake. I have a friend who was only marginally into Magic for a couple of years (93-96) and he had 2 of them. When I asked him about them he claimed to have pulled them from a pack. He's not the kind of guy who would have understood enough about the market to fake them.

It really truly looks like it came that way.
In other words, if someone cut it, they did an Alpha-rivaling job.

I think I'll see the dude again on Friday.
I don't have much use for it as my rarities collection is small to none,
so I was wondering if someone here wanted it if I can get ahold of it.

Also, as a side note, Gunslinga, I will sell that crimpd Rhox to you for $10 :-) PM me!
