Some guy is willing to sell me a complete set of the 4th Edition portuguese black border, but I have no clue on what's a fair price.
Could someone help me out?
Thanx

It's hard to say...most of the power was sucked out of 4th, but it's one of the largest sets ever printed, and it still had serra, shivan, swords, birds, wrath, balance, and a few other goodies. I always say a card is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I'd probably be willing to pay up to $400 for a mint set, but if e-bay is any indication, there are people out there willing to spend a lot more on stuff like this than I am.

A problem with portuguese cards seems to be their condition though, most portuguese dragon whelps I've got my hands on so far have been played, most without sleeves, and if the set is in EX condition I'd say the value drops quite a bit.
So check the condition carefull before you pay several hundred for it :)
My guess was that a 300ish pricetag for a NM set would do, but I've been off from magic for quite some time, so don't trust that quote too much.
