For those of you who don't understand French:

"I know someone who owns 2 Splendid Genesis and he's willing to sell them.
The seller wants to remain anonymous.
The trade will be concluded in three parts: 1/send me a PM, 2/we get in touch on the phone 3/we meet in the flesh.
The cards are *not* in France."

The creator of the thread seems to work with a French shop, "La Main Rouge", in Paris.  The owner seems to know the cards (stickers?) are valuable, but he's waiting for a good offer. You can contact these persons by directly following the link I provided, or sending me a PM if need be. I don't know if they are legit, but I'll try to learn some more about this...

The post seems more or less closed but Cyril Grillon (supposedly the middle-man having posted on the French forum) is a very well known person in French MtG. Wasn't he working for WotC France during a while?

I guess he is trustworthy.

It's a REALLY bad price,I have at least 10 different offers over the years between 1500$ and 3500$,but I do not Collect Unique cards  ;)

Sold one for $2000 several years back, no idea what their current value is tho.

Last I remember on Ebay closed around $1500-2000 if I recall correctly, and it was no more than 2 years ago.

$4800 is a VERY bad price in my opinion.

The $4800 price was just a wild guess from the French guy.

The website from which originated the thread has a policy forcing their members to actually put on price on *any* card they offer to sell.

If any of you wants to make an offer (whatever the price) for both card + birth certificate (included in the package), just PM me and I'll do that for you. ;)
