can we trust this dude/auction?
saw this, price is waaay too high, but that ain't what is bothering me.
His knowledge of the english language.....hmmmm.
makes me rather.........don't trust him.
Also the "scan" looks rather fishy.
what do you think?

Re: can we trust this dude/auction?
The thing that most gives me pause about the seller is that he has no feedback between 2001 and now. It looks like he was mostly buying Magic cards previously (and not really selling much), so that's at least consistent with his current auction. If I were bidding I would trust him on small auctions and be a bit wary on large auctions.
As far as the scan, I agree that it looks odd. The simplest thing to do is to request a new scan of the front with the edges shown and a scan of the back. I'd certainly avoid him if he can't or won't provide new scans.

Axios: Not to be picky about language use, as I know English is not your primary language, but you tend to use prize instead of price, as I have noticed this before. Just trying to help you out, so please do not take any offense.

in dutch the "c" is pronounced the same as "z" in a word as price and a lot of other words as well.

Here is a real 4th edition albino:
Depending on the set, albinos vary, some are grey & look like a newspaper print. But all 4th editions look like this that I've seen, this is no photoshop work. Hope this'll help.

Re: can we trust this dude/auction?
As far as auctions go, let alone finding albinos, it is very rare. Assuming that albino is real, $200.00 is reasonable- but notice he has a reserve, so hard telling what he wants.
People overuse the word "albino". Often times a faded card gets labeled "albino", or "part albino", which is incorrect (& always gets me excited until I see these supposed albinos people have).
One of two things happen to make something albino. easiest way is to flat out skip all color pressings, which leaves you with a b/w albino (see above). Also, something can go wrong during the printing process, wiping out all of the colors, washing them out to a grey color.
Perhaps there is more options or ways this happens, but this is what I know.
So I don't load up this thread w/ more pictures, here's some links:
A true color missing albino-
http://fvzappa.photosite.com/Album1/nv01_006.html
My black bordered albinos (no scans as of now) DO have the typical borders, just no other color.
a washed out albino, I assume originally had its color (based on the assumtions from the NEXT scan)-
http://fvzappa.photosite.com/sept272004/sp26_001.html
I own 4 of these, icluding Ornithopter & Crumble.
a PART albino (big old splotch, really)-
http://fvzappa.photosite.com/sept202004/sp20_001.html
Albino back card (front is normal)-
http://fvzappa.photosite.com/Album1/de18_001.html
It is a Reterothopter, BTW.
These are the different types I've seen. I hope this helps, & others have a few to contribute.
