9th sampler-packs
I was at a qualifier for nationals this week end. Im already qualified so i could't play. But i got a few sampler-packs and played a few games with them.
This is when i notice something odd.
The sampler pack contains 10 cards 5 of witch is lands (one of each) and one card of each colour. The green card is Craw Wurm!
Craw Wurm cost 6 mana and 2 of them green.
might be old news but i thought it a bit odd..

I've never seen a sample pack in Germany and I think it doesn't exists. Because german 9th Edition contains no Starter Pack but a redundantly pack which comes with a CD, 22 cards and a short rule explanation. For the 8the edition exists a sample pack with 22 cards and explanation sheet.
In my opinion WotC just sell the sample pack in germany in this senseless beginners pack.

info i got this weekend during nationals (in witch I sucked, next time i will draft at least ones in advance) is that the wurm is there to show that a card can cost two coloured mana.

if these are what i think they are..
a CD with the sample cards
then any premier store can get them from thier distributor by asking.. they are free to order and free to hand out.

Never argue with an Idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
