Great Dalmuti MtG advertisement card?

Post by Erl00 » Fri May 06, 2005 6:36 pm

Hello all,

I was having a look at this auction for a Great Dalmunti game when I noticed the MtG advertisement-like card.

Was this card known already?
Does this qualify as a MtG rarity?

Regards,
Eric.

I have never seen nor heard of this game before, but my opinion would be that this most certainly should be considered a rarity item.
It would interesting to see if this is just a single promo item here, or if perhaps all the card backs look like that.
Oct 30, away until further notice

The English version of the game is out of print, but is being re-released by Avalon Hill later this year.  I don't think it will have the advertising card in it.

There is also a German version of the game.  I don't know if it has the card (or whether the card would be in English or German), but it was recently available through some outlets such as the link below:

My cinema club recently got a new copy of this game, and it contained the advertisement card.  I'm unsure if the game was newly manufactured, or if it was simply sitting in inventory for a long time (my theory is the latter, as there were only older WotC logos on the box, rather than new WotC logos and this re-release publisher)

Hi Members.
I confirmed that the MTG Advertisement card doesn't exist either in English or German in The GroBe Dalmuti
Amigo Version.4 Different Advertisement cards for Amigo games are included instead. If anyone needs a German Version Unsealed,I do have an Extra one  ;)
