Invasion set card proofing sheets

Hi there,

Can someone enlighten me on what is this about?
Reading the title, I thought it was dealing with Artist proofs, but I noticved (and, believe me, I am no half of a dumb guy!) that the "cards" were white bordered, which is not possible for Invasion APs.

So I read the description and I don't really know what to think about.

As far as i understand the seller this are no cards at all because he says "14 color pages of card proofs".
Also there is something printed in the bottom part of the white borders that i cannot read.
Unfortunately he hadn't included a supersize picture.

For a serious collector, I think this would be something to get.  I used to get items like this from WotC also back when I was on some kind of retailers list.  I had written about this before.  At the time, I was not aware of the value of the many items that Wizards was sending me, and I am not sure if I still have some of it or if I threw it out when I last moved.
My experiences now that I have been a member of this forum, is that these sort of items were only sent to a small select group on this mailing list I was on, and as such, there exists a lot of promotional product that was not widely available.

So, my opinion - if you are one of the very serious collectors here, then this is an addition you will want, as you will not see this kind of item here very often.

Is this or regular paper or is it on some sort of card stock?

I would think it is a regular paper print out.  So many pages sent ahead of release for people to give their two cents worth.

This seems like an easy thing to duplicate then.  How could you verify its authenticity?

The BP you have is different, it's quite unique and was made prior to releasing the game to tease investors.

This stuff seems to be part of a normal ongoing process for sets. I'm wondering which process, if it's internal aimed or external focused, etc.

I just got that Info from one of our Secret Members  ;)

I saw the subject on the white bordered Invasion card sheet.  I have one or two of these here at the office.  I can't seem to find it today, but I know it's not an Invasion card.  I think that these are used in the proofing process of the card design.I think they are used to check spelling, see how the card looks, ect...
If I can find it I will send you a scan.
