Russian Magic?
I've seen the scans and what-not...
So, has anyone confirmed whether or not Russian Magic The Gathering exists?
Even if only 8th edition, I would like to buy some...

Re: Russian Magic?
I think he is inquiring whether M:TG is printed in Russian. not just a pre-release card. Besides, WOTC slaughtered the translation on the Champion.

Re: Russian Magic?
According to my knowledge, only the Pre-realease Laquatus has been printed in Russian. At least for "real" cards. Don't know about online stuff.

Re: Russian Magic?
http://mtgrus.narod.ru/
It takes a LONG time to load (im thinking a bad dial up server near Moscow ;-) )
The sight is sooo slow, I barely loaded the homepage before my browser considered it 'timed out'. I don't speak their language, or understand it. Despite my browser showing me their cerillic. Hehe. But it appears it is a site of a team of players, their chat rooms, and more.
Found it just by going to google and typing "russian mtg". So it appears, there are groups of people there that play it, and have teams for it! I think it would be a good move to print newer sets for them too. Not only letting more people play, giving us more cards to collect, but also helping relations :-)
**(I will update this during this night as I get more infos)**
-Update 1)
This webpage:
http://www.mtg.ag.ru/
Was listed in a links page, near very very nice MTG sights, such as MTGDojo and MTGNews... however, it doesn't seem to be alive anymore. Anyone know anything about it?
-Update 2)
This Webpage:
http://mtg.meetup.com/members/851
Is a webpage for Russian players to meet each other. So far... two are registered ;-) hehehe...
-Update 3)
This Webpage:
http://www.games.ru/links/?type=games&art=M
Is a webpage for Russian Fantasy fans to find games (video games) they would like to play , buy, whatever. It has FOUR Magic Games and links... so we can confirm that people in Russia must play the English Versions of 'our' MTG Video/Computer Games.
-Update 4)
This Webpage:
http://sales.starcitygames.com/customer ... 4c0a9a7608
StarcityGames... we all know them :-) They refer to this 'euroland' as being the 'euroland of russia'. All other 'eurolands' have cards in their native language now... perhaps Russia will be soon? I don't know. It does show yet another connection to Russia by Wotc (think also, L. Champion Pre-release)
-Update 5)
This website:
http://www.fido.sakhalin.ru/mtg/links.html
A group of MTG Players and Collectors in Russia... lots of links. Most of them are broken, this link:
http://www.dega.vtsnet.ru/
Is a GREAT mtg site. It is in flash or HTML. But the flash version is quite nice.
-Update 6)
There are more and more websites of players, collectors, etc, that I am finding. I wish I knew someone Russian that could help. There are probably many collectors, players, traders, that we could talk to and learn from, and help too! Sigh... let me know what you guys think of all of this information. And I can always dig up more sights if needed....
-FINAL Update!!) Hello... found another GREAT website (best of all)
http://www.sargona.ru/catalog/
See what you think... lots of MTG cards being sold, its up to date, and updated often. Enjoy :-)

Re: Russian Magic?
"Final Update"... tuh! I got more :-)
Ok... with more time spent... here is the more "magic" website of them all:
http://www.sargona.ru/catalog/index.php ... 3b78015e52
Sells all the most recent sets and cards, talks a little bit about them and wizards.
Here is something I find the MOST interesting... An english starter pack and such... with RUSSIAN RULES / INFO BOOKLET!!
http://www.sargona.ru/catalog/images/wi ... 3b78015e52
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that we 'know' this exists until now...
In the meantime... I will keep surfin ;-)

Re: Russian Magic?
Hello,
I purchased at least 1 Ebay item from a Russian MTG retailer, so he'll probably know/own all of this.
His Username on Ebay was denitz (and quite full of positive feedback too) if I remember correctly, but if you want I'll check for you.

Re: Russian Magic?
Has anybody obtained a Magic product with Russian rules yet aside from the 7th Edition box set? What about the 8th Edition box set (called Core Game)?
