That thing is AWESOME. And i'm glad box-toppers are back, collecting them was quite enjoyable when 8th came out.

It seems to be only a one shot box topper, but I agree it's pretty cool.

Retail is $29.99, but many sites are selling at a discount for early orders.

In addition, the the 9th Starter set with the exclusive cards is selling for $14.99 retail.

If this is the same thing, then it is going for 69 on ebay right now with about an hour left. Preorder from the link bigfatkitty provided (thank you) is about 25.

Sorry Allie,
What you are linking here to is a box of boosters. BFK is talking about the Wide Load, or Fat Pack as they have been commonly known as.

Oops

Yep, just took another look at it and noticed that. Was going back to remove the post but noticed you answered.

I'm putting blame on my 4-year-old. He was coming into the room as I was looking at it. He already wants EVERY card he sees, especially ones with dragons.

thanks, though. Retail price on the booster that I saw was 77.99 on one site.

Too late on the yu-gi-oh (and digimon) as he loves the cartoon. He's only 4 after all. But I plan on giving him some MTG dragons in nice clear plastic to hang on his wall to get him to appreciate the artwork. He's never seen the other playing cards, so I am safe for now.

He is not interested in sports. He likes magic and super powers and fantasy. He is my son, after all.

He will be nudged away from the darkside (mainly because he doesn't have money of his own, so I control his destiny at least until he is a teenager ... cue evil laughter)
