Pretty crazy price for it though that equates to $500 a pack which is definately not worth it.

Hi.
I agree with that, just a good opportunity for Collectors of Mint Beta to get 36 Boosters at once, hoping that the box is Sealed  :)
If you get a Black Lotus,or any P9 Jackpot  ;) even for that price.

I dont think that image is of the actual product. I think Cardhaus would be smarter than to try to sell an open beta booster box for that price.

Beta boxes did not come sealed.

So in theory you could buy an empty beta box (which Troll and toad sells), then fill it with 36 single boosters.

That being said Troll and Toad had a sealed one they sold for 12k a while back.  I've heard that towards the end of beta's print run a couple sealed boxes were released.

A. Jackpot refers to a very large (or largest) prize in a game of chance. It's from Poker, where the antes are placed in a "pot"; and a variation where players can only open with "Jacks" or better. If no one opens, a new hand is dealt and the "pot" keeps growing.

B. Finding a pristine Beta box is indeed a very big prize. Buyers would need to judge Cardhaus's reputation, though. I presume (hope) they would only offer it if they were reasonably certain it's an unmodified box.

The price Cardhaus is asking is so ridiculously high it makes me laugh  ;D ;D

If that box is truly unsealed, I'd place it value at much less than 50% of what they're asking.

ilet me say it more precisely:
why does cardhaus calls it a jackpot, beta boosterboxes are frequently found on ebay.

and indeed, [nice mode on]price is rather high[nice mode off]

I dont care what the price, having a box of beta boosters is "winning the jackpot"
I can't believe I ate the whole thing

I'd pay more for a box of alpha boosters myself but thats just my opinion.
