Chinese 4th edition BB Shanodin Dryads

Ok, I just finished sorting 10 starter boxes worth of Chinese 4th edition BB Starters.

I didn't get ONE..SINGLE..Shanodin Dryad.  I find that the odds of this occuring by chance are, uh, basically zero.

So either 1) they don't exist in Chinese 4th edition BB OR (more likely) 2) the starters are screwed up and there are no Dryads in just them.

Anyone know?

Possible the art was too suggestive for the Chinese? It seems that 1995  would be well before they created alternate ("cleaner") art for them.

The exact content of the T-Chinese 4th Edition set is still unknown to me. Rumor has it, though, that quite a few cards have been left out.

In 1995 T-Chinese MTG is not intended to be sold in mainland china, but only Taiwan and Hong Kong, so I don't think they're left out. Though it's very difficult to find 4E BB even in Hong Kong now...

I have almost completed a 4th Edition BB Korean set but one of the missing cards is the Shanodin Dryad too  :o

My cards go from 'Eternal Warrior' to 'Fireball'.

No Fire Elemental either.

It's an almost nekkid chick thing maybe..hmm.

I'd be really interested to know what else is missing if you were to go through and check everything. There are definitely more cards that would be considered "objectionable". I bet they just pulled the cards from 4th because there was no time to get new art. Here are a few to spot check:

Drudge Skeletons (skeleton)

Gaseous Form (almost nekkid)

I know I remember the ones I mention above, but I will bug the wife to help me out (reading the 4th ed list from wizards while I check the cards) and we'll see what is missing.  It is possible that in 300 rares I might miss one (actually, somewhat likely), but it's virtually impossible that I will be missing uncommons or commons.

PS - if we end up finding more of these cards, perhaps we will need a special page for 'missing cards'...like Portguese ante cards and the like... (mostly so people don't waste their time looking for them).  I DO know that there are Trad Chinese 7th edition dryads, BTW.
