Houston; we have a situation
If you and I had some correspondence going on about something and I haven't answered you in a couple days my apologies.
I have been packing and preparing my home for a possible evacuation. There is a serious wildfire just out of town. I live about 2 miles from the area that has already been evacuated and about 3.5 miles from the fire itself. Three towns in the area have been evacuated. In the state of Colorado there are 7 wildfires at the moment but almost half of the state firefighting resources are here in Colorado Springs.
Just to put some stress into it, we have had forever record high temperatures the last few days.
If the wind shifts to the NE, there may be one less Magic collection in the world.
Thanks for your understanding if I have not been focused on Magic trading/collecting.

I just moved from the UK, the worst thing that can happen there is you get a bit damp.
It isn't hot enough for heat waves, not dry enough for fires, not cold enough to freeze, no volcanoes or earthquakes. 1 hurricane back in 87 and everyone is still talking about it (the one before it was in 1703).
I move to Australia and besides the poisonous wildlife we have cyclones, bushfires and floods, the place is a nightmare.
Good luck, hopefully we won't see you on the news.

Thanks for the good wishes. If anyone is interested here is the local blurb. Web searches are a little confusing because there are so many fires in Colorado at the present.

http://inciweb.org/ is where I'm keeping an eye on it at. Gary I might look at a metal/concrete storage locker in the middle of the city if your worried about the quantity of objects to move. The fire shouldn't survive if it gets into the city, to easy to defend with the city's fire resources, lack of flammable buildings and large water reserves.mystical_tutor wrote:Thanks for the good wishes. Thanks much. I'm working on it.
Wind picked up last night and today and fire is changing direction toward town. Forecast though (after tonight) is for it to die down a bit.
